At Surana we have embedded a wide spectrum of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities ranging from sports to community service complements our academic programme.

Our dedicated teachers not only teach but also are great coaches, counsellors and mentors who understand that education takes place all over the campus-not only in the classroom.

Curriculum

Dance, Drama and Music in a floor dedicated for Arts and craft is the heart of the Campus. Various Dance forms such as Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam and Kathak is taught along with various instruments such as Tabla, kanjira, Flute and Darbuka.Drama forms include Mime. Art and craft has been given importance as it nurtures creativity in a child and encourages them to understand their potential and further nourish their skills based on their interest.

Practicing Karate not only will it give your son or daughter a boost in self-esteem and confidence, it will also help in a variety of other aspects such as Exercise to be healthy and active, will learn how to breathe and relax under pressure. A very important reason karate is so helpful to children is that it forces them to be still and silent. In today's world where we are constantly plugged into the TV, internet, or gaming device, it can be close to impossible to truly concentrate. Karate is a great way for a child to train and work hard without any distraction. They learn that paying attention can be vital to succeeding. In karate, your child will learn that you can take a huge blow but still get up. This can translate into so many aspects of your child's life. Your child will learn how to best take a hit and how to fully recover without feeling defeated. Karate ultimately teach your child the importance of resilience.

Yoga offers time for the body and mind to relax from the rigors of learning. This may help students be better at applying themselves when studying or learning in a classroom.

Roller skating is the perfect way to combine fitness with fun. The children of this generation are really the first to grow up in the age of fitness. Enjoyment is the key ingredient in every sport or exercise program…especially for children. Roller skating provides just that.

Roller Skating is:

  • A fun way to increase muscular strength and cardio respiratory endurance (burn anywhere from 330 to 600 calories per hour)
  • Great for improving strength, balance, agility, coordination and flexibility

SURANA TENT - At Surana Tent a movie will be projected a movie once in 2 weeks, to help students to inculcate the rational thinking, analytical thinking ability and gives them a boost to think out of the box.
